The Trip

Our journey starts in Santiago de Chile where we drive south on the Panamerican highway to reach the Colchagua valley. During our nextdays through the wine valleys our local guide, an expert in wines and hospitality takes us to important and innovative wineries and to all places of interest in each city and region. Our Chilean-based, English-speaking tour guide will be with you during the entire trip to ensure a safe and comfortable trip.

Day 1: Santiago de Chile – Maipu Valley – Colchagua Valley

Meeting in your hotel in Santiago. During this morning we go for visit & special tasting to Viña Perez Cruz. This winery was build in hormonize with the sourroundings and only native elements like wood and stones where used for the construction. The ideal conditions of an mediterranean climate, aluvial soils and clear water from the Andes Mountains makes that each wine express the caracter of the Maipu valley terroir! Back to the Pan-American Highway we drive south to the Colchagua Valley. We will go through fertile wine and fruit plantations. The Pan-American (Ruta 5) is a network of roads nearly 48.000km (29.800 miles) in total length and extends from Alaska in North America to Quellon on the Island of Chiloé/Chile. In the afternoon we go to explore the exceptional wines of Viña Neyen located in the famous Apalta district within the Colchagua Valley. Visit & tasting. Day 2: Colonial Haciendas and Great Wine Estates

By private mini coach we set out to discover one of South America’s best preserved colonial estates. The World Heritage Site of the San José del Carmen de El Huique Museum is a time capsule which offers visitors an exceptional look into Spanish colonial life. After the morning museum tour, we discover the wines and history of the Colchagua Valley. We visit Viña Montes, a winery founded by four partners and located in an area known as the “Apalta.” This region is one of the most recognized and respected wine zones in the Colchagua Valley. The Colchagua Valley was one of the main agricultural areas of the country because of big family "haciendas," which were the productive centers of the central region of Chile. Today, remains of these old "patronal" houses can be seen along the roads along which you will travel. Enjoy a winery visit and tasting at Viña Montes before lunch, which will be served in a lovely setting overlooking the Colchagua Valley. We will return to historic Santa Cruz in the late afternoon. Day 3: Maipo Valley

Breakfast buffet in the Hotel. Drive north on the Panamerican Highway and visit to famous winemaker Alvaro Espinoza in his new boutique winery Antiyal. Visit and Tasting. In the afternoon return drive to Santiago and Check-In Hotel Atton El Bosque located in the exclusive district of Providencia. Overnight Hotel Atton El Bosque (4*)

Day 4: Casablanca Valley

After breakfast we take the “Ruta 68” which leads us directly to Viña Organica Emiliana. This winery is one of the the leading company in organic and bio dynamical agriculture. After visit and tasting we go for visit and tasting to the exceptional winery Matetic. In the afternoon return drive to Santiago. End of our services
