Day 1: USA - Buenos Aires

Arrival in Buenos Aires. Meet our local guide and transfer to our new refurnished Hotel Pestana, located in the business, banking and entertainment districts. In the afternoon walking tour we join us in the Hotel where we have prepared awelcome cocktail for you! This will be a great opportunity to know each other...........

Day 2: Buenos Aires – Tango Show

After our breakfast we start to visit the historical places of Buenos Aires. Our introductory tour starts in Plaza de Mayo surounded by “Casa Rosada” (gouvernment house), the Metropolitan Cathedral and the old “Cabildo” (chapter house), spanish headquarters. We continue along “Avenida de Mayo” up to the Congreso Square, next to the National Congress. We continue to Corrientes Avenue, the street that never sleeps until arriving to the “Obelisco” and the theater Colon, located on the world largest avenue 9 de Julio. “La Boca” the bohemian colorful neighborhood of italian immigrants is our next stop before we reach the district “Recoleta” and “Palermo”. Here you will learn more about the story of Eva Peron. From here we return to our hotel. At night we are going to see a spectacular tango show with dinner. (wine and drinks included).

Day 3: Buenos Aires – Mendoza

After our breakfast we drive to the nacional airport and we take a flight to Mendoza, located next to Andes foothills. At the airport in Mendoza your wine expert (Hannes Schönauer) will wait for you. After a stop at the square “Pedro de Castillo” we continue to to Bodega Norton. This winery was founded in 1895 by an english engineer Mr. Edmund James Norton and is located south of the Mendoza River in the district of Perdriel. In 1989 the winery was bought by the austrian entrepreneur Gernot Langes Swarovski and today it is one of the leading winery in Argentina. After visit and tasting a special lunch will be served in the winery. In the afternoon we return to our hotel in the center of Mendoza. Overnight Hotel El Portal Suites (3-4*)

Day 4: Mendoza

After our breakfast we are going to visit the most important places and squares in Mendoza. You will learn more about the history of Mendoza and South America. Afterwards we continue to visit Bodega Zuccardi where we have prepared a culinary cooking class. Be introduced to the secrets of argentine cuisine. Lunch we have prepared in the winery with fine selected wines. I the afternoon we visit the winery and afterwards we drive back to Mendoza. Overnight Hotel El Portal Suites (3-4*)

Day 5: Uco Valley

After breakfast we drive with our luxury bus southwest. The Uco valley is located about 50 miles of the city of Mendoza and the drive offers fabolous views of the Andes mountain range. The land of the new winery Salentein was in the past part of the estancia called “De Arriba”. All vines are located in the Alto Valle de Uco between 3.900 to 5.570 feet above sea level, making it possible to generate serveral microclimates to produce excellent quality wines. After our visit and tasting we are going to enjoy a lunch a special lunch. In the afternoon return drive to Mendoza.

Day 6: Crossing Andes mountain range

After a early breakfast we start to cross the Andes mountain. On thisspectacular day ride we will see the “Puente del Inka” and the highest mountain of America, the Aconocagua (23.196 feet). After crossing the chilean boarder we reach the ski area Portillo, the oldest in South America where we have a snack break with view to the Inca lagoon. Portillo has hosted many great national ski teams including the U.S. and Austrian ski teams. We continue our drive through the Aconcagua valley and on the Panamerican highway we will reach in the afternoon Santa Cruz, located in the Colchagua valley. Dinner tonight in the nice restaurant of our hotel. (wines and drinks not included)

Day 7: Colchagua Valley

During the morning visit to the museum in Santa Cruz. (entrance fee included) we will go for visit to Viña Montes. This winery was founded by 4 partners and today the area of Apalta is one of the most recognized wine zones in the Colchagua Valley. We are going to visit the brand new winery and taste there new wines. Our lunch today will be in very special place in the Colchagua Valley. (wine and drinks included). In the late afternoon we return to Santa Cruz, where you have time to enjoy the hotel facilities or visit the museum in Santa Cruz. Overnight Hotel Santa Cruz Plaza (4*)

Day 8: Maipo Valley - Santiago de Chile

On our way to Santiago we stop by famous biodynamic enologist Alvaro Espinoza at Viña Antiyal. Special visit and tasting. Visit to handycraft village “Pueblitos Los Domincos. Hotel Atton El Bosque (4*)

Day 9: Santiago de Chile

After our breakfast we go for a fascinating exploration of the heart of Santiago. Visit Santa Lucia hill, where Pedro de Valdivia founded the city in 1542 and walk to the oldest church in Santiago. See the charming neighborhood known as Paris-Londres and visit the main square, “Plaza de Armas. At the historical museum we will learn about the chilean histroy. We’ll have lunch in the colorful and chaotic Mercado Central, a fun way to see Chile’s agricultural exports displayed. Shoppers always enjoy watching the lively fishmongers gutting and filleting fish and the market displays every kind of fish and shellfish available along the Chilean coast. (wine and drinks included. After lunch, we walk through the neigbourhood of Bellavsita and we drive up to the overlook hill “Cerro San Cristobal” to enjoy great view over the city and the Andes mountain range. Day 10: Casablanca Valley – Valparaiso

After breakfast we take the “Ruta 68” which leads us directly to Viña Veramonte (or Viña Casas del Bosque). This leading winery was built by Agustin Huneeus and Franciscan Estates in 1985. Nowadays over 865 acre of vineyards are under production and more than 80% is exported. After our visit and tasting we drive to Valparaiso, considered as the Pearl of the Pacific by many passionate poets and writers. This city known by its hills and narrow winding streets has been declared by the UNESCO as one of the World´s Heritage, thanks to its unique past century architecture preserved until today. On our visit through Valparaiso we will visit all importante places. Farewell dinner tonight in a well selected restaurant. (all wines included).

Day 11: Santiago de Chile - Home

Breakfast buffet in the Hotel. Before we drive up to the overlook hill “Cerro San Cristobal” where we have great view over Santiago and the Andes mountain range. Once we reach the international airport your tour guide will help you to get your boarding pass and then he will say good by and wish you a good home flight to the U.S. Hopefully we are going to see us on a next trip through Patagonia, Estern Island, Atacama desert, Peru or to explora the wine world in northern Argentina & the new exotic wine world of Uruguay.............”hasta pronto”!
